Our Story
Some things are inherited. Others must be earned.
Aether is a leather-goods house built on a single idea: the objects we carry each day deserve to be made slowly, once, and well. We work in vegetable-tanned saddle leather, raw wool and unlacquered brass. Each material is specified a single time and never substituted for margin.
Provenance
Every hide is vegetable-tanned and left to age rather than corrected. We keep a record of where our materials come from and who worked them, so that each piece can be traced to its origin.
Craft
Each piece is finished by hand and checked at every stage, from raw material to final polish. Editions are numbered at the bench. We make a small number at a time.
Discretion
We do not design for attention. There are no seasons here, no drops, no logos worn for others to read. A piece from Aether is meant to be lived with for years, and passed on.
